How to frame your goals for maximum success

True greatness, true leadership, is achieved not by reducing men to one’s service but in giving oneself in selfless service to them. – J. Oswald Sanders

Do the right thing and even if you don’t succeed you’ll be able to live with the choice. It all comes down to purpose. Some of the most successful people out there grew their success by building it around a quintessential service or product.

When you base your actions on the good of others and not just yourself, it shows. And people respond to that goodness in ways that will more often than not surprise you. It’s true, a business exists for the purpose of making money, but one thing left out is that it isn’t “money at any cost”.

Being able to align your business goal with your personal goals is a good place to start. Moving forward make it a point to check up on and possibly include the goals of your team. The next step after that focus on the goals of your clients. In no time at all you will find yourself working not just for monetary gain but also for the benefit of your fellow man, and when that happens, you’ll never again find yourself with a lack of motivation. You’ll do fine.
